KHCN Quality Peer Learning Team members

The May KHCN Quality Peer Learning Team met to share best practices and receive training from Amanda Laramie of Coleman Associates. The focus of the discussion was on improving practice efficiency by ensuring all staff members are working to the top of their license or training, including front desk, medical assistants, registered nurses, and providers. The workshop examined how each member of the health care team can help to improve efficiency and workflow to reduce the time for a patient to get an appointment and reduce patient visit cycle time, while improving employee job satisfaction and patient satisfaction. Boone Tavern in Berea was the meeting site and provided a great atmosphere for peer learning.
