KHCN members are growing to increase access to care for those they serve.  In January, Juniper Health began seeing patients in their new, state-of-the-art facility in Jackson.  The new clinic provides a modern and comfortable place for patients to receive care, with separate waiting areas for pediatric and adult patients.  The building provides space for administrative offices and for future service expansions which may include optometry, dental, and/or pharmacy.  To learn more about Juniper Health, visit their website at

Health First Community Health Center opened an additional site in a newly renovated building in downtown Morganfield in January.  A large crowd was on hand for an open house and ribbon cutting held on January 28.  Attendees included local, state, and federal officials, community supporters, and patients.  The clinic offers family practice, behavioral health, nutrition therapy, and laboratory services.  They also provide a late clinic on Tuesdays.  More information about Health First Community Health Center can be found at their website,

Audubon Area Community Care Clinic held an open house in their new clinic site in Owensboro in January.  The new location provides an expansion of the waiting room and doubles the number of exam rooms from their previous location.  It also provides larger staff areas, including a meeting room and kitchen.  The clinic offers primary care, behavioral health, and laboratory services.
