The Kentucky Health Center Network (KHCN) is pleased to announce the addition of Lindsay Nelson as our new Chief Operating Officer, effective September 11, 2023. Ms. Nelson brings a wealth of expertise and a steadfast dedication to the advancement of healthcare services within the communities served by KHCN members. Ms. Nelson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Gettysburg College and has earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Spalding University. Her vast work experience includes roles in community health center leadership, outreach and enrollment, community development and outreach, college course design and instruction, and grant writing, evaluation, and management.
Ms. Nelson’s academic background and chosen work underscores her commitment to a holistic approach to healthcare and community well-being. She has a passion for data-driven decision-making and is dedicated to achieving equitable access to quality healthcare within the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Ms. Nelson lives in Louisville with her family which includes, as she says, far too many dogs.
