KHCN was honored to accept the KY REC HIPAA Privacy and Security Excellence Award at its October conference. In making the award, KY REC Managing Director Brent McKune stated, “KHCN has set the gold standard for HIPAA compliance and data security in Community Health Centers. The continued funding provides technical assistance and support to help safeguard electronically protected health information and keep the supported organizations up-to-date and compliant with HIPAA regulations.
