On Friday, June 28, 2019 KHCN member Fairview Community Health Center held an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony for their brand new, state-of-the-art clinic facility in Bowling Green. The date is exactly 18 years since Fairview CHC first opened their doors and began serving the residents of Warren County and surrounding areas.
U.S. Representative Brett Guthrie spoke during the ceremony. He praised Fairview and other Community Health Centers for the important, life-improving work they do and the services they provide for the underserved. He shared that nationally, Community Health Centers have always been supported by both Democrats and Republicans because of the quality of care provided and their demonstrated savings to the health care system overall.
Fairview CEO Chris Keyser explained to the large crowd in attendance that the additional space of the new facility allows Fairview to become a training site for the OB/Gyn residency training program in collaboration with The Medical Center, set to begin July 1.
